Uranium Oxide was used to make the yellow glaze on this mug. It is safe for display but not recommended to drink from. Uranium oxide was a common glaze additive prior to WWII, and Uranium was still used in glazes by many companies, including the company that made Fiesta dinnerware after WWII.
