The wastegate actuator is what controls your boost levels with your turbo for the most part. There is a flap inside the turbo that is opened by the wastegate once your engine reaches the desired boost level. That flap opens and diverts exhaust gases away from the turbo to regulate boost

I AM BLOWN AWAY! I ordered this and a shirt less than 12 hours ago and they arrived this morning. I was worried because I've never ordered anything that I didn't have to go up 3 sizes but I read the reviews and it seemed like they have finally figured it out! The jacket is amazing and fit like I had it tailor-made. All of the advertising says "slim fit", which I AM NOT. I ordered an XL and I have 44 & 46reg suit jackets. This is the best of the nearly 2500 purchases I have made from Amazon! This brand just needs to shuffle the letters in their name to be I M A G I N E!
